DIGITAL DANGERS

A Crisis Hiding in Plain Sight

A predatory online figure

Strangers & Grooming

Half of minors talk to strangers online. Predators pose as peers, build trust through games and DMs, then isolate a child from the adults who protect them.

The Troll King

Harmful Content

Exposure to violent, sexual, and extremist content starts younger every year — often before a child has the context to handle it.

Mirror, the AI villain

Deepfakes & Manipulation

72% of kids can't tell real from AI media. Synthetic images, voices, and videos make lies look real, opening the door to manipulation and extortion.

A data-harvesting threat

Data & Identity Theft

66% of apps track kids for profit — harvesting personal, biometric, and behavioral data that can follow them for life.

Captain Phish-Hook

Bait & Malware

Free game rewards and “prizes” are used as a hook to plant malware, hijack accounts, and steal logins.

Trance

Hidden Platforms

Apps designed to vanish without a trace keep kids one tap away from unmoderated spaces no adult can see.
